If you've never woken to the sounds of a flock of turkeys overhead, you've never lived!

Our landlord owns a lot of animals, and a flock of turkeys is the most recent addition (they're nearly full-grown). Now, include a metal roof and an easy-to-climb tree and what do you get?

Why, a thundering stampede above your bed at 6am, of course.

Throw into the mix a jealous group of peacocks (who had that roof as a perch FIRST, darn it)_{at least THEY don't stomp around}, and what do you get?

A cacophony of stomping, popping_{yes, turkeys pop}, meh-ing, gobbling, peacaahh-ing freaking birds, and a headache...

ALL of this, naturally, on our last morning here in Kooskia, Idaho. *headesk*

WHAT A LIFE.

So now I go on brief hiatus until I get internet again in my new home. Wish me luck in my new endeavors as I do likewise always for yours!
